CGS USA sets its research agenda, methods, findings, editorial decisions, speakers, and institutional positions independently. Financial support does not purchase a conclusion, endorsement, appointment, speaking role, or right of prior approval.
Six rules that govern what we accept
- We seek support that advances our mission and protects independent judgment.
- We conduct proportionate due diligence on significant donors, grants, sponsors, and partners.
- We disclose project support on relevant publications and event pages.
- We identify material author, reviewer, staff, and director conflicts and manage them under organizational policy.
- We do not knowingly accept support that requires predetermined findings, concealed attribution, unlawful activity, or partisan campaign intervention.
- Restricted funds are tracked and used for their agreed charitable or program purpose.
Transparency documents
As documents become available and publication is appropriate, this page will provide the organization’s current governing and public-accountability materials, which may include its articles, tax-exemption determination, annual information returns, audited or reviewed financial statements, annual reports, conflict-of-interest policy, and major funder disclosures.
