The Indo-Pacific is a major arena for trade, connectivity, technology, climate risk, and strategic competition. CGS USA examines how these developments affect the United States, South Asia, and the wider region, including the choices available to smaller states.
The Bay of Bengal
The Bay of Bengal connects South and Southeast Asia and is increasingly important to trade, energy, maritime security, migration, and climate resilience. We study the Bay as a shared space shaped by national interests and opportunities for cooperation.
